Yes, button delay, not button lag as IronChef would call it. When you push a button, it does not respond until 1/3 seconds later, and does not stop until 1/3 seconds after you let go. Interesting, eh?

It's actually not that big of a deal, unless you move the D-pad a lot in all directions. Side scrollers are fine once you get used to them. Pong can be a problem.
