I would like to have one of those PC-SIG Trek games, you know, with long range/short range sensors, galaxy sector, torpedoes, navigation, phasers, engineering, medical, damage, planet excavation, shields, etc.

Silly comment really, but whats the point of writing all those apps again on a PocketPC with limited memory anyway when they are already in ROM, most of them. Why not just start out making a dashboard like app as a front end only, just my 2 cents

Yes, this is a very good idea... most people have CF cards nowadays, especialy since you can get them dirt cheap, so why not go all out and ppl can have it "autoboot" from the storage card, like the psion netbook. I mean, go all out, tack on a nice $10 price so you make a profit and ppl will realize how great it is and spend the money on a great, low cost app. It would be cool if there was also a sort of accessory that went with it, for the desktop, so that you could code your own "plugins" and switch to PPC mode, put 'em in a folder in windows explorer, and you would be set with new apps. While you are at it, add maybe some sort of central menuing interface so that you could add more than the seven or eight apps on the left bar. And, since this is just an idea post, why not create a conduit for outlook EXPRESS syncing to the "TrekOS" while you are at it. OR, you could use the plugin/app coding, create a whole skinning app around the plugins, and then skin it to whatever you want, so anyone who could create graphics and code menus could create a new interface to this OS---Finally, my ultimate goal of MacOS on my PPC!!!!<br><br>Just some ideas/my $0.02
