Suggestion:
-after reaching certain level, winning tournament, or collecting certain amoung to coins. There should be new secret characters. That should add more fun.
-All these character doesn't have all to race in the game. In advance stage after the user unlock all the secret character he can pick and choose who he is going to race with.
-can select how many racer player want to race with (1-4)
-time trial mode? (this ought to be interesting if somebody make a really crazy circuit)
- more power up please. oh I don't know temporary nitro boost, ability to jump without launch pad, etc..
-demo. maybe one very small complete circuit instead of several different 20 second cut off? (sort of like 'racing day')

Suggestion for version 2.0.
It would be fun if user can exchange kart or character ala pokemon
more diverse characters (look, color, racing characteristic)
Kart has characteristic (acceleration, tire grip, control, etc)
