Is DX-Mobile going to have any 3d support? If not, they shouldn't even bother releasing it.

Yes, DirectX will most importantly mean direct draw, which is a vast improvement over GAPI which greatly bottlenecks graphics speed because of the need to write to the framebuffer.

I still think you'd be better off with some custom blitting functions on top of PocketHAL (or even GAPI) than monkeying around with this DX-Mobile if you really wanted high performance 2d.

Dont need 3D? OK, I agree, that for an awesome RPG like diablo, we would only need 2D, but for other games, 3D would be nice. Like if we got 3D, then Half-Life would run great(if ported). Also, FPSCE would run way better with 3d-support. Although, all I really want is a few diablo-type games.

Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.
