In this case, the graphics are very much part of the gameplay. White boxes like on the Atari won't scare me. Nor will horrible bright lighting.

One of my current favorite games is a stupid little DOS game kinda like MOO but alot simpler and is all drawn on the screen using ASCII chars. Its not out of touch, its reality.
