Asus a716 Review is here

Postby PROPortable » Feb 19, 2004 @ 5:48pm

the716 doesn't have a jog dial, but rather and up and down button.... took me a while to get used to, but it seems like it would work better for the long term over a dial.

Does the SD slot take accessories such as an SD camera, SD GPS, etc?

I'm re-asking Frankleya's question and would like to know the answer:
Does the A716 have a serperate power port as the A620 does?

Also, if the answer to the above is yes, is the power port the same as on the A620?

Thanks,
Rock

Rock,

I'm going to answer the question for the second time. There is a sync port and a power port, just like the a620. When it's in the cradle it still sync's and charges, but you can take it out of the cradle and power it up and charge it if you had to.

What about the SD slot? Is it memory only, or an SDIO slot? I'm sorry if that has been answered already, but I couldn't find any info on it.

Thanks,
Shawn

I tested the battery of my A620 today, and it amazed me :).

Check out the screenshot, It lasted for 5 hours and 20 minutes while looping a Titus Episode (22 minutes per episode) from my 256MB (Ultra high speed) CF Card!

After this it still was playing, but I thought it was enough and it's charging again :P.
