Ya know, I don't condone the distribution of warez, but really...take a gander at yourselves! It's a beta for pete's sake.

Lomax and company - you guys ever tried to pull someone over on the freeway because they were speeding? Why let your Boy Scout honor stop with video game betas? GET OUT THERE! DO US A FAVOR!

Jk, if moose never signed an NDA, that he is guiltless, since he probably never read an End-User license agreement either. Although he has probably hurt a business, I am still mad because carpe told me I could have a beta, got my hopes up, and then took it back. Darn you. Maybe one day I'll make my own rts. And in it everyone will have a big stick. And they will all chase after eachother mindlessly, because that is how people with big sticks behave. "HA!" The king with the biggest stick will say. "Chase after those other stick people, don't let them escape and..." Then I woke up.

You niave fool. Think that its ok because its "just a beta", how idiotic does that sound. Think that blizzard are really happy that warcraft3 is all over the warez sitez because some lamo decided to spread it because its "just a beta". And your analogy about pulling someone over for speeding is ludicros. You obviously havent a clue about the impact spreading beta warez has on sales. Escpecially pocketpc ones, which sell next to none anyway.

Moose is blameless?

Sure he may not of been the one who gave him the beta....but for fucks sake, he uploaded it to warez site for EVERYONE to get. Not only was it a 7 month old beta, which makes the game look bad, but he was running a shared IRC channel, with the tagline -=ARGENTUM BETA HERE=-.....which surprisingly isnt online anymore.

Just have it write to the flash rom if it violates something. They will at least have to send their device to get repairs then.

Good points, and ones which I forgot to raise. How can a pocketpc site like this,which such a huge (maybe the biggest) collection of developers, expect to get some credibilty in the pocketpc world when a lot of its so called forum members are so blatantly using warez??

Talk about these forum "members" being two faced....you want one of these developers to produce a kick assgame for you and you go and pirate the fucking thing.

Where the hell is the mods for there view?

PM's stance on the issue is a simple one, Warez are not aloud on PocketMatrix.com. Unfortunatly there is not much we can do besides delete post mentioning ways to attain warez.
