I downloaded the RealOne Mobile program for iPAQ 3765 ... I am a Desktop PC RealOne Player Gold subscriber.
1) they never informed me (I'm paying over $20 a month for the Desktop service)
2) When I downloaded the "player" to my Compaq iPAQ 3765 .. there is NO way you cn import files into their playlists ... maybe I'm a "computer dummy" but ... can't they program their "program" to look for compatible media on the Pocket PC instead of me having to search for it directory-by-directory? At least Windows Media Player does a "search" of the mobile player (AND the Storage card) first for "local content" before it gives a "list"
I am soooooooooooooooo (and I mean it) frustrated. We download (and PAY FOR) these media players and they NEVER work together. When you open up RealOne Player for Pocket PC it (obviously) looks for RealPlayer Media Files! And .. RealPlayer Media Files only (though you do have the option to go for "all files" .. that's NOT a help! )
Now .... have you noticed .... when using RealOne Player on your Desktop PC it downloads files from the internet in a MusicNet Download File format with the extension of *.MND ???
Have you also noticed that this "radically new" RealOne Player for the Pocket PC does NOT recognize these *.MND files? All they are looking for are "RealPlayer Media Files" !!!
I think that RealPlayer is scamming all of those people out there (including me) with a VERY incomplete Pocket PC version of RealOne Player that is soooooooooooo incomplete that it cannot keep up with it's own Desktop PC version.
This is corporate mistrust at its very worst (in terms of customer satisfaction). They rushed out an incomplete product in one week due to customer complaints when they originally said that the Pocket PC program of RealOne Player would originally be available NEXT month. They just converted RealPlayer (with its obvious faults) to a Pocket PC format.
Boy .... are they pissing people off (excuse my language) !!
If RealNetWorks are going to treat paying customers this way then ... I will NOT continue to be a paying customer ... I'll go back to Windows Media Player and "Morpheus" (which I swore I would never use again after seeing the Grammy plea on TV).
