When I originally ported quake from the ppc to the 720, I did not have a memory card. So, you should be able to run the shareware version (gziped) straight from the device.

Type map e1m1 and see what happens.

Unless the Jornada's have some DOS mode that I don't know of. :P

Hello,

I downloaded PocketHexen and the WAD file. When I try to run it on my iPAQ 3955, I get the following message after trying to launch the shareware version:

"Error: W_GetNumForName: FONTAY_S not found!"

Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can get the game to run?

PocketHeretic worked fine, only PocketHexen gave me the error message above.
