Can you see a performance differance when you play games on it. Also the battery time is amazing. The D pad is 8 way, right?

I decided to go with the zayo. I was just wondering If anyone has seen the benchmarks for the dell axim 400Mhz at Pocketpcpassion.com It is located in the fourm area. Also what do you guys think of the benchmark results?

I really want to learn to program really low-level hardware stuff, like how to overclock an Xscale cpu.
I can see at least 450 MHz, quite possibly scaling past 500 MHz or even 600 MHz on some chips, at which the RAM and other stuff will begin to limit you. Remember, they were running XScale at over 1 GHz two years ago (although that was definitely not in battery saving mode).
I am thinking that the Zayo is going to be my next PPC if I can manage it. If not, maybe the X5 400MHz.

BTW, what sort of expansion does the Zayo use and does it have built-in WiFi? If it doesn't have CF support and no built-in WiFi then I won't want to get it.
Die, Palm, Die. If that offended you, then get rid of your Palm OS device.

Is there really a need to overclock it though? I always thought the 400Mhz Xscales performed just as fast as an overclocked StrongARM... I might be mistaken.
Hmm.. The Axim looks nice, and I wouldnt mind the iPAQ either. But how does the Zayo run at 100Mhz? Sounds awfully slow to me...
