Ya, me too. I've even said "lol" (loal) and "brb" (burb) in conversation on more occasions than I'd like to admit.

I used a smily in written letters, also. But when paper turns into TabletPCs then I won't be dumb when I do such things

Everyone drives weird in other countries. When I was in Australia, a bus I was on hit a kangaroo (We were traveling from Sydeny to Canberra, which along the way is nothing but open land). Another time the bus nearly ran into another car on a roundabout. I've never seen such poor driving in my life.
