Moose: Notice that I said "acts as a host" instead of "is a host". You guys are assuming that I have no idea what I'm talking about. Not all games are run off of dedicated servers or whatever. Gosh, it's not like I was born yesterday or anything! It seems that like ever since that time I said something in defense of "Another guest" you guys seem to think that I'm just like him!

We'd like to release it ASAP. We could possibly slap things together and still sell alot of copies, but Dan and I are both perfectionists. We also don't want this to become merely a "tech-demo" that lacks any substance.

I would like to release a demo well in advance of the initial launch. That will help us better prepare a successful launch, iron out any show stopping bugs, provide us with ample feedback from the end-user and determine whether or not we need substantial mod support. If we have only 1 or 2 serious modders, we can nearly support that on a one-on-one basis.
