If I'll buy PPC with 16M on-board now and add, for instance, 16M CF or MMC later would it be the same as PPC with 32M initialy on-board ?<br>Would applications use this memory as they use on-board one or just for datastorage ?<br>What's the performance difference between CF and MMC ?<br><br>Thanks a lot.

You are incorrect, MooseMaster, as far as your scientific reasoning goes.  I've got a 80 gig hard drive that transfers faster than my first 5 meg hard drive, but at a fraction of the power usage.  ATA flash PCMCIA cards may require more power, but it's not for the simple reason you gave...<br><br>Brian K
