Well I cant even get the PS EMU to load, so why bother even trying to rip GTA. When I click "fpse2003.exe" on my pocket pc nothing happens at all.

that happened to me, what I then did was extract the folder to my pc using winzip then transfer the folder over. I think it likes the folder structure a certain way.

Thats exactly how I did it. Then I moved "fpsece2003" to the "EXE" subfolder and nothing.... I dont get it. Is this not the EXE file they are talking about? In the readme it mentions something about the exe file having a .psx extension, but that didnt come with the program.

Nevermind I got it working. Wasnt supposed to put that file in the EXE folder. Now I just need to rip the GTA rom. That WINIso thing requires you to buy it for $30. Then they said they would send the download link to my email. Still havent got that email so maybe I just wasted 30 coins. But I gotta get something to rip the GTA iso off the disc before I can test it.

Ok I downloaded a freeware iso to see if that even works... When I try to load the iso it goes to a black screen then kicks me back out. This is running the emu from the storage card. If I have the emu in main memory, it doesnt even see the iso on the storage card. So until I can even get the emu to work, there is no point in trying to rip GTA.

NYI:
Just create a folder on the root of your storage card calles ISOS, and put the game in there.
Chef has done it this way and Metal Slug X worked fine :)

NYI:
Maybe it's that you don't have enough memory? did you hard reset it?

About your IM question:
Maybe you can do that.
Just copy everything to a folder, then create an Mode2 bin/cue file (search google for "Mode2 CD Maker", its a windows based program), .Z-compress it (PocketISO) and then transfer it to your PPC.

I don't know if this is working, some games have copy-protection on it. (i checked a list, and they didn't mention GTA in the copy-protected list)

Well, good luck and keep us posted!

I used pocketiso to compress metalslugx.

Do I leave it as the bz file? Do I also put the cue file in the ISOS?
