grey show me a game that i havent ALREADY seen on my ipaq. Btw who ever said we depend on developers for our programs was stupid, because most of the people on this board are developers. Also why did you people start comming to these boards? Is this some pda crusade?? Are you trying to convert the ppc users to be? Do you think they are going to shell out $150 for a machine that would have been nice two years ago?

Ok one more post. That e-125 you say you have. Thats about 3 years old. So your oh so powerful be should be better hardware and performance wise. Btw chris or matt check those ip's on the "guests".

Well that's just it......

It is hard to have developers create games for what the PPC world views as a sub standard.

Microsoft decrees all PPC MUST be Intel based, so developers ( apart from Japan as the BE seems to be better accepeted there), will develop for Strong arm and the soon to be standard x-scale.

Now we, for what ever reason enter the market and buy a PDA....,mine was not knowing about the M$ draft on what PPC was, and seeing price and windows lable I bought the BE300.

However Casio and it's lack of development led me to the group I am with now.

If we can show we are able to handle most things maybe we can attract some developers to give us some games and apps.

If that happens then that's a good thing. The developer opens a market and the BE300 users BUY software.

Like I said before if you guys knew all the facts then you would look at sales fo the BE300, I think you will be suprised by the many who will consume product and are willing to hand you money.

So if I can't have a game developed then how on earth can I show you something?

well if you can port a game you should have no trouble learning how to create a game. I would switch to BE if it had alot of freeware developers (not just ports actual work made by the author) because there isnt much freeware left for the ppc (im not saying its dead). I dont give a rats ass about sales reports btw. I care about support for the device (both from the large companies and the small business developers.) Ports wont get the BE anywhere. Sooner or later you have to make something original.

and enought with the damn today screens damn it! You know what I use? The default screen. NOTHING ELSE! We also have programs that change the appearance of the today screen (for old 2000 devices that dont have customizable today screens. I wont give you any credit until I see an original work from a BE programmer (and it cant be solitare or checkers).
