Whoa cant believe I missed this thread!
999, dude, welcome back! We never talked too much, but I still got you on my Yahoo Messenger list. I kind of messed around with some of your stuff to provide the guys here with a wisbar skin, a today banner and a dashboard theme.
once again, welcome back. now get back to work! ;)
great to see you again :)

Wow, if 999 praised the PPC as the ultimate gaming device everyone would raise a beer in his honor. Insteads he offers an opinion that differs with your own and now he is a leper. He is one of the few people I respect in this forum and Brighthand along with Dan East and a couple that have defected over to Pocketpcpassion and Thoughts. I consider him one of the founding fathers of PPC community. People should show him the respect he deserves. Of course Dan East is the godfather.

Does his comments threaten your views of your PPC purchase? Do you still need the reassurance that you made the right choice by going with the PPC? By Criticizing 999 for his views you are showing your own insecurities about the PPC.

PIM is what dictates most of the PDA purchases. Not multimedia. I have to go that one even though most of my time is spent playing games or web surfing on my PPCs.

I own a few PPCs (2215, E755, 5555) but I agree with 999 on all counts. I might even get the Sony UX-50 just because of the unique design. And web surfing on that thing totally beats the PPC hands down. Just my opinion. PPC is slipping but I hope things turn around for the better soon. And Playstation emulation will not save it.

I originally said that crap about plams because i just wanted to get a rise out of 999, see if he remembered; and to strategically spell palm Plam everytime.. something he started. :)

As for which PDA is actually better, it is a pointless argument. Nowadays, it all really comes down to personal preference. Especially with technology and usability on both devices catching up with eachother.

I prefer PPC, its what I've grown accustomed to for the past several years; plus the fact that I am an avid Windows user, not a Mac user, which makes it more familiar to me. etc etc etc

On the flip side, the same arguments can be said for the Palm, and they're just as valid in my mind.

And the argument continues like the interminable carousel that it is...
