Ummmm... sorry none of the current PPC's are anywhere near running half-life or counterstrike.

As for the Axim, it's a very good ppc. If you're buying it in the US it'll probably be about $200 if you can get when Dell is having rebates or other promotions. I have the Axim 400 mhz and it is very nice. It's compatible with most every piece of software out there, and although it's not a top performer with pocket quake, it's a very good ppc for the price.

Counter-strike and Half-life will not run on any PocketPC. A PocketPC is different from a computer, they cannot play the same software. The Axim is a good PocketPC, but if you want to play games then you should buy a Nintendo Gameboy Advanced SP.

Xbox kicks ass, but computer still beats it for multiplayer games. TFC 2fort is greatness, as is TheHunted, which is what i have been playing recently.

i also have an axim 300, its a great device and(opinion) beleive that it runs smoother than the 3900 series ipaq.

I'am in germany so the axim x5 in 400mhz is 350€
300mhz is 250€

So it sucks that it is cheeper in USA

BUt I will waiting 2 month and maybe i will buy it then!
