Hmmm... should I buy a new PPC, or a refurbished budget laptop?

But my parents aren't going to let me buy a gaming laptop with the money I will be making from my job, so I have to stick with a budget one that will only run the old 2D (Possibly old 3D) games like Total Annihilation, Mechcommander Gold, and the like. I was hoping to get one like my mom has... but I don't know the model.
Posted: Apr 9, 2003 @ 11:14pmI say save your money and don't buy anything with it. You've got an okay PocketPC in an H3600. It's ARM and it's PPC2k2 so there's no compatibility issues.

Posted: Apr 9, 2003 @ 11:46pmBuy a Shuttle XPC. $400 base (incl. motherboard), buy a CPU and just put your graphics card and CD drive and hard drive into the XPC.
