If I get a pc card -> CF adapter to use in my laptop would I be able to share a CF wifi card between my PPC and laptop?

Most likely, but it's not a 100% certainty. I have a Linksys CF card, and they do not provide anything but Windows CE drivers for it. I emailed support a few times over it and they said it will not work on regular windows machines. I finally found the drivers for the PCMCIA version of the card, and they work perfectly. That has been my primary method of connecting my laptop to my LAN, and it certainly works very well.
I also had to rip the metal top off of my CF to PCMCIA adapter, because the card is a Type II and the adapter only supports Type I, which is thinner.

Yeah, I was wondering about the same thing too... does every PC card adapter allow that, or is it possible that some only treat a CF card as memory?
