Can anyone recommend a decent task switcher / closer. I've used PocketBlinds which looks really good but is lacking a close all / close all but current feature. I've also used PocketNav which is good but doesn't look as good as pocketblinds.<br>

I like WIS Bar, because it's straightforward and does what I want. GigaBar is good too, but it does quite a bit more, and can take a bit of work to configure the way you like it. It also contains a rudimentary file explorer, which WIS Bar does not.<br><br>Dan East

I prefer to use perhaps the "litest" of the task-switchers, PocketNav.<br><br>It's been out for quite some time, and is extremely intuitive in it's design. The author has spent quite some time in fine tuning it, as it has yet to crash out on me like the all famous Gigbar (Wisbar hasn't crashed on me, but it does seem to hang on occasion for longer than I'd like while closing Media Player for instance).<br><br>Sadly, PocketNav lacks the ability to skin the top menubar, but I don't mind since I've changed my OS colours with CETuner anyway. My windows bar is Gray complimented by that dark blue windows start icon (ROM 1.77). It's a nice mixup to the norm, and doesn't require any resources to display alpha-channeled bmp files.<br><br>

Chuck, try uninstalling gigabar and using nothing for an hour and see how much faster the Casio is, you'll be surprised how much of a footprint that sucker has.  Navigating is so much smoother w/o that program on a MIPS.  You should use WIS or SQ Pocket

WIS Bar is perfect: Small, fast and accurate. You can also skin it. Err, could anyone kindly post the link for Lee?

thanks for the advice. i've tried the ones mentioned and i agree that wisbar is the best one. pretty small, looks good, and does exactly what i want.

i turn gigabar off whenever runnning games or whatnot. i've skinned a special button for it. i just click poof its off and games starts.

Ugggghhh! Just thinking of the original, non-skinned taskbar...<br>it looked so... so... well, i didn't like it...

well can wisbar do the same things. and does it act the same? i like gigabars layout.

I like my not-skinned task bar. With the new WinCE rom it looks nice....

It´s the new Win CE "rom" for the iPAQ. it´s not a new version of Wince...
