Yo all, as I have just set up a wireless network at home, I am looking for some free utilities that will help me gauge performance, keep me connected, and let me know the best spots to put an access po0int in my home. While I was searching fro one of these tools, I came across a program called Mini Stumbler. For all you war-drivers out there, this name will sound familiar. If you use NetStumbler for your leeching methods, then this is also a program you'll want. It's basically NetStumbler, but for your PPC. I haven't tried the utiity yet, but I'll guess that it detects signal strength, and where all those packets are coming from. But enough confusing jabber, visit to see the proggie now.

It's been out for a good while now... close to a year I think!

Last time I checked it only accepted Orinoco cards... not Socket or Symbol :(
