SD cards are more expensive, but smaller. CF cards are cheap, but you can't use the slot for other peripherals (Wifi, etc).

I would recommend getting an SD card, because you never know if you want a Wifi card or something later on.

As for sizes, 256 mb or up is good. I can fit 4 good quality tv shows (25 mins each at 60 mbs per) on it. Obviously try to get the highest you can afford. You always want more than you expect. Have fun :)

Thanks for all the info and I think I am going to get an 256mb sd card to start with. More useful info the better. Thanks again.

Bender: 60MB an episode? My Family Guy episodes are 30MB a piece.

By the way, is WMV still slow with WMP 9, PXA255 and Pocket PC 2003?

I know WMV is smaller than MPEG, but is it smaller than Divx 5.05 Pro?

At identical image quality DivX is smaller.

... actually, I'd like to adjust that. At identical size, DivX is better quality.
