As for your review. Here are my suggestions. Please try out both PS1 emulators, PocketSNES (Bleeding Edge), GBA emulators (whichever is the best), PocketQuake 1 & 2, and tell us how well they perform (framerate, sound quality, etc). Also how long the battery lasts (stationary and with cpu intensive programs running).

Also, it's good to finally see you post Matt. :)

I have done a few battery tests, I really know whats the best battery discharge graphing program. I have tried one but when it is enabled it caused windows to slow to a crawl. Video playback and games where un affected but it took about a minute just for the start button to work :?

First of all, T3 receieved a demo from the end of May. It had POcket PC 2002 and the battery wasn't the new li-ion which gets better life. The funny thing is, the reviewer called us just to say he hates pocket pcs. I was thinking that we really got lucky, didn't we? He then went on to say it was the best pocket pc he's ever used and the review was fair and we'd like it. He also said that he wanted one... 3 out of 5 stars???? I don't know.....

Also, it takes 3 months to get the review out.... next month they're reviewing out notebook and giving it 2-3 full pages... The A620 was also our first international review, we're excited..... but I know what you mean.

About the bluetooth. I know this isn't an option for everyone, but in mod-september there will be an A620BT, same A620 plus builtin bluetooth and an additional 32MB ROM (making it 64MB). That will be an additional $70 ($430 USD total). Asus is bad with ETAs, so we may be looking later, earlier.. we're starting to take pre-orders on them anyway so we can get the first to enter the US. I don't know how many of your tried Mobile Planet, but we shipped out first A620 the week of June 23rd..... MP didn't ship theirs until August 5th.

Last thing I've got to say is about Staples. I'm in contact with the head of PDAs at Asus a couple times a day and he said the deal never got off the table. The Razor Zayo (aka Asus MyPal A600) was supposed to go to Staples and didn't... one reason the Zayo is selling for $199 when it would still cost us $430 through Asus.

Feel free to drop me an email. justin@proportable.com

Just for the record. I've bought two A620's from Justin, he's great on one-on-one customer service. I highly recommend doing bussiness with him.
As for everything you've asked before, Quake 2 isn't playable at 6fps, and I haven't tried the PSOne emu for lack of games (don't have one). Everything else, PocketSNES completely playable with unsyncronized sound (but not THAT bad). My WiFi card manufacturer hasn't emailed me the drivers for WM2003. And it plays HIGH-QUALITY WMV like the "I'm glad" video from JLo that takes only 8MB in WMV.
I loooooove my A620, Big Time!!
