Why are some people acting balls to walls about his thing? Its not out and I haven't heard a goddamned thing about it!
Seriously, is it gonna have that acceleon thing it it or what? I wouldn't count on Toshiba for much, seeing as they need to wrok on button lag on some models and screen lag on the e750.

Well if you look at pictures of it it has Genio on the front of it. Genio happens to be the Toshibas that aren't crap.

Moose: Your wrong again. It's not hardcoded to a specific resolution. Ever try raising the resolution with JSLandscape/NYditot, and then trying one of the remote view tools? It works perfectly, and the viewarea is whatever size you set it to. A lot of apps break, but this is a program made without any access to WinCE's internals. That's why you have the 320x240 compatibility mode too, for the apps that still don't want to work.

Exactly, the OS is hardcoded for a specific resolution, the applications do not utilize the extra resolution, they break into null pixels and span incorrectly. I even mentioned Nyditot, sponge. PocketPC does not work on other resolutions. It would require an upgrade to the OS. Oi. Figure out what I said, I hate writing three posts that say the same thing.

But programs DO work under higher resolutions, Pocket Word, Notes, Inbox, Tasks, will all not break in higher resolutions. Infact, almost all of the built-in programs work fine. When was the last time you even tried that?
Besides, the OS doesn't have to run in 640x480, games and programs would be made for the higher resolution to use them - exactly like the first Clies!

OS 5 added support for 320x320 and 320x240
OS 5.2.3 adds support for 320x480 officially.
