From the development team of Knight Lite, we are now announcing the next thing to come.

<img src="http://koti.mbnet.fi/vgames/ROD_poster.gif">

Reign of Dragons is a platformer for PocketPC, to which we have put lots of efford in the last six months to make it look, sound and play as good as possible. Our aim is to deliver GBA quality gaming (naturally with the obvious advantages that the PPC has over it, 16-bit multichannel music and sfx, bigger screen etc.)

At the moment Reign of Dragons features:-

- 16 huge levels of gameplay, including dozens of secret passages
- Four unique worlds with unique gfx and sfx, extra themes for sub-worlds
- Storyline all the way trough the game
- Parallax scrolling and particle effects
- Portrait / landscape modes
- Collectable armors, coins, power-ups and keys
- Ability to pick up, carry and toss objects at enemies
- Weather effects
- End-of-level enemies
- More than 500 graphical elements
- More than 30 minutes of original soundtracks in XM format

As we speak, the game engine is running and level design is being carried out. The game is now 85% finished, and we are looking forward to december release.

Hi all,

Here's a slight update of ROD development that I promised earlier. We've added loads of new things to the engine and added some new graphical elements.

In this winter ingame screenshot you can see the new 2,5D look of the elements and weather effects (snowflakes here). We'll are going to upgrade the rest of the game to go with the same style and look.

Some people were interested in the ingame music, which we have - as stated earlier - over 30 minutes, composed to emphasize the look and feel of the levels being played. Here are a few short excerpts of the soundtrack (around 300kb each):-

Due to new added elements and raised bar, we've moved the deadline to early 2004. As the old cliché goes, "It'll be released when it's finished"
