I believe there is a newer ROM for the ASUS A620 (no BT) on the ftp, specifically AD620N.nb0.0.64.30.WWE
Also, you can use the newest ROM for the BT model on the standard A620.

and what then?

Once updated, the rom can be deleted from the storage card?
doesn't work

With storage card you mean the compact flash root? I've placed it there and tried to do as you mentioned, but it didn't work

Place the rom on a blank CF card then record+soft reset (not record + power). thanks for the new pass and login though

ah I know what to do, hold record then press reset, it will scan the cf for the rom update then installs it.

It worked! I can only say thanks a lot, I've been searching for this update for a long time because I purchased my Asus A620 from Germany since I couldn't find it anywhere else in Europe, and of course it was in german, and now finally I can understand everything

ROM Version: V0.54.30 WWE
OS VERSION: POCKET PC 2003
BOOT vERSION: 03042511445
Now, two questions: once updated, if I make a hard reset back to factory config, what ROM version would I have then, this one or the previous one.
And second, more less linked to the other one, should I delete then the ROM, or is it neccesary to have it in the CF root for the PDA to function normally?
TIA
