Textmaker is also working on a database of sorts, so they do have plans for a "mobile office". However, if pricing for the word processor portion is any indication, you might be looking at $150 or so for the complete suite (for the Pocket PC). They would probably offer the desktop companions along with the Pocket PC versions...who knows how much that would cost. Don't get me wrong, Textmaker is incredibly full featured, it just may be more that most need or are able to afford.

You could try Tillansofts Pocket Notepad. Its not really a word processor, but I like it better than pocket word.
Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

Its $150 for qBASIC for your palm device too. All it does is let you make palm os apps in and iferior version of BASIC.

Isn't that more of a viewer then an editor?

I'm thinking about trying Textmaker myself. i hear it's very good, and I'd like a bit more functionality on my PPC - like tables.

I picked up TextMaker when they sold it for $11.11. Woke up at 5:30 AM in order to take advantage of it.

So how is it really? Is it really Word for PPC or just a fancy notepad?

Still a bit too slow IMO, but it's quite powerful.
