I played Doom on my 3635 at a very playable speed with a Targus keyboard. I also used the hardware buttons, believe it or not on Jimmy's Doom.... but the others i have no experience with.

My first PPC was a 3630, and I played PQ and Doom it without any problems. The one button press issue is only a real problem with things like a SNES emulator, where you can't run and jump at the same time in Mario [to name one thing]
PQ is pretty playable. If you use the D-pad to strafe, go forward and backward, and press to fire, you can have a lot of fun with it. You control the weapons and view up-down with the stylus on the virtual controls and it plays just as good as on PC. I played through the entire game that way!!

PQ's controls work great for me, its just I can't get the framerate above 11-13 fps. I tried gfDoom last night and with the skins I can play just fine. Most of the time I don't even have to use the skin as I can move and shoot.
