ahh well, cant be avoided eh, its a dam shame too, its a really nice device, it is, probably going to be the top device on the market, i mean it surpasses the 4150 in everyway, and those sell like hotcakes, i cant wait till they come in stock, :), get one the first hour there out, im sure all those with the a620's would aswell if they hadnt have bought those already eh, :) woot

Well, it would seem that the A716 is beginning to show up...

It's a nice device, however it seems a bit too expensive to me (550€), compared to the A620BT, and I don't know if the buttons layout is that good for games. However, the nice point is that it has a 2-year warranty... It seems useful with those unswappable batteries.

[EDIT] I've added the price of the device, might be handy if you're too lazy to follow the url ;)

The timing is very hard for them, it's an odd end model before big upgrade cycle. This is particularly hard for a high end machine.

New models are coming in the late spring, but the a620's and the new 716 are only complimentary devices to what is to come. Neither are models that are getting replaced..... if they have what you're looking for in a pcc, there isn't a real need to wait..... the new models aren't going to bring prices down all the much, they will just even out a line that is more in tune to knocking around HP for the average to high end user, not just the gamer....... so basically.... they'll have 5 units by say end of april/may..... ranging from $300 to $600-- lets say.....

Just something for every one and every use.
