Asus .70.31 Rom

I have the Asus A620, non BT. Something I noticed about the newest (afaik) ROM, .70.31. It seems that Asus must have messed something up with .Net Framework, because all the programs that use it the Russian programmer's free chess, rubix cube, and Cleaner+ all failed to work in the same way, tapping on the shortcut results in nothing, launching from file explorer alsod oes the same thing. Anybody with the ROM care to test (or perhaps tell me there's a newer version i don't have)?

ASUS ROM-File with compact framework

You could try to download the .net compact framwork service pack2 and update your device with the appropriate *.cab-file.
You can find it here:

You could also try to download a A620BT-ROM-File. The latest english version should be .99.31. Haven't tried it yet, but BT-ROMs should also work with the normal A620.

btw, I'm currently searching for a german ROM-Update, I've found .64.30 on their server, but does anyone know if there's .70.31. or later available in german?

Hi,

Did anyone have the chance to download all the .70 roms ? I'd like to update my a620 (non-BT), and I think I'm not the only one in that position. I know this forum isn't likely to let its users to give rom-URLs away, but is there anyway to bypass that problem ? I mean, as long as we know how to flash, and we take our responsabilities, I can't see where the harm for Asus... Unless there's some license issues with Micro$oft (the rom hold Windows inside...).

Of course, I don't want to mess with anything illegal, and I really don't want this forum to get into troubles because of these roms... But I would be great if Asus just made something about that.

Menrad.
