What do you think about this device? I think it sounds pretty good to me. Will every PDA (Pocket PC, Palm) user move over to uPC?

Hah, OQO. There've been a million threads about it, but all we've seen is vapour, vapour, and more vapour.

Thoughts have a bit on it too today. The consensus is, it's vapourware for sure. Right up there with Duke Nukem Forever.
And even if it wasn't, it still costs around two grand. I can buy a top-of-the-line laptop for that. And nice as the OQO is, it's still not as capable as even my old laptop - This at least has a decent keyboard and resolution!
At two grand, it'll almost exclusively be used by the business types and the likes of Philip Torrone.

At least we know DNF exists. (They actually delayed the release date until late 2004, early 2005 now heh)

Yes but this is new news and a new device design, which means they have been active.
However, it's totally worthless.
Go buy that 8.4" TabletPC that has far more features and is far faster for $899! nVision, it's on sale now.

My theory on Duke Nukem Forever is that its all a huge pratical joke. Just look at the title, Duke Nukem Forever. See, its forever, never gonna happen.
Either that or its going to turn into Daikatana. Go John Romero!

Silly gits. If I were them, I'd cancel the whole project.
When [or rather, if] it gets released, it'll be up against at least Half Life 2 and Doom 3. No matter how loyal Duke Nukem fans are, it's just not going to sell like it would have two years ago. It'll be completely outdated. Hell, they had to change engines like three times. I hear right now its running on some old Unreal engine...
About the only good thing I could say about it is: by the time it's released, my PPC will be powerful enough to run it, so we finally get Duke on PPC
