Problem syncing iPaq3765

Hi all,

I recently got a new desktop PC at work and installed Activesync 3.7.1 and connected my iPaq 3765. No problems. Everything worked fine for a couple of days, then the desktop PC rebooted for no obvious reason and now the PPC won't sync.

When I connect it, it says New Hardware Found... and tries to install a driver. It eventually fails, reporting that there was an error installing the driver and maps the PPC to a generic USB device, so ActiveSync doesn't recognize it at all.

I have done a full hard reset on the ipaq, rebooted the desktop, uninstalled and reinstalled Activesync, all with no luck.

Anybody else have any ideas?

When you uninstall active sync, try to erase all regestry keys. It's an idea like another.. :?
