Mmmm most pocket pcs could just about fit into what you just asked for. You may need to go into more detail. EG

Do you need wirelless? bluetooth WIFI

Do you need a 640x480 VGA screen?

What price range are you looking at?

How important is battery life?

etc

Well... at least 8 hours "on" time... preferably up to 3 days on "standby" mode

I don't really need WiFi, my home is hardwired 100mbps anyway (I'll just use the USB connection for transfering files and stuff)

So really, its just extra storage thats important

Also... are there PPC models or software around that enables a non-ActiveSync PC to read information off a PDA when plugged in, as if it were a "flash USB stick"? Because that would be really useful.

Regarding 640x480 res screens... this is all new to me, I remember when it used to be like 200x320 screens

Does it really make a difference? and do certain games require this resolution? (or at least look better at it)

Well a 640x480 screen is double the number of pixels so its really high res when you look at it. Everything is very clear.

Heres a nice comparsion between the two, its from the a730 review on this site.
