I am wondering if SD cards suffer from the same bottlenecks as CF cards, if so, There will not be any speed difference in your device, However, If you have an SD card reader, adding and removing files from the card using the Card Reader will be quicker with a faster card.

Standing on a recent article on my personal computing magazine, I found out that PPC memory card controllers are fast enough just to use a 20% of the full speed.
They also wrote not to buy all those "Ultra", "Extra-speed", "Hi-speed" products because you could see the difference only if using it on a high end reflex digital camera.
