NEC VR4122 (150MHz) = MIPS ????

Just bought a Casio em-500 it is my first Pocket PC.  The casio webpage says it has a NEC VR4122 (150MHz) processor.<br>I have noticed alot of downloads that are processor specific.  <br><br>Is the "MIPS" the processor i have?<br>What does "MIPS" stand for?<br><br>

MIPS is the type of processor in all Casio devices. To determine your processor type tap on Start, then Settings. Then click on the System tab, then the About icon. It will tell you your processor type, among other things.

That's what I'm here for. Also for posting useless tidbits of nothingness, my 2 cents, degrading others (apparently people think I do that a little too much), and chipping in what some may call "incorrect" technical data. I beg to differ.
