EM-500 and my home broadband line

Is there/will there be an ethernet card for the MMC slot on the EM-500, if not, is there any way to hook in to my broadband connection?<br><br>Thanks!<br>Dan<br>

THere is no way to expand the MMC expansion slot to use anything but storage cards. Sorry buddy. EM-500s suck.

you could connect to the broadband connection through activesync on your pc. You would need to install a proxy server on your desktop and configure your pocket pc to use it, but it would work. However, I don't see the point of that, because your pc would be right there, so you could use your pc to surf the web... unless it's just for the cool factor :)

EM-500's don't suck. But the consumer doesn't usually know it isn't as expandable as the e-125, since it lacks a CF slot.<br><br>They tried to make it more appealing by offering a free MMC for a while (32 meg I think).<br><br>I'm glad I investigated all the PocketPC options for about 3 months before purchasing the e-125.

You should also be able to setup a network connection via your IR, however it's limited to whatever bandwidth it can push/recieve. <br><br>Doesn't the 707 have a CF slot *and* an mmc slot? (SD card)<br><br>
