I was wondering how i can get monkey island on my ppc. Where do i get the ported exe file? I remmber you guys talking about having a monkey island port.

You have to own the full version of Monkey Island (CD version) first.<br><br>As far as I know it shouldn't be distributed without the authors consent, so I doubt Jaybot can even do anything about it.

Jay is a friend of the author. He may not give it away, as he's under an NDA and it's still beta. You may not have it. You need the CD-Version of Monkey1 and the new EXE, which isnt released. That's it.

But does it have a chance of seeing the light of day some time soon?

I got a copy of this PPC port from someone, who I wont name. The copy of the game I own floppies wouldnt work with it. I couldn't find any copies on the net that would work. So I just forgot about it.

Well, i really do not have the permission to distibute it; the only people who have copies of this game are those that i have given it to, which was under my consent and under the consent of the author.  as for the shit thats floating around, i know EXACTLY who did it, and it really upsets me that he would disobey my trust like that.  Thus, when there are updates to the file and any other works that this author decides to port, I will not be distributing it to HIM, or possibly anyone, ever again; until the author decides to release his material to the public.  And because of these recent events, the author found out about the leakage of the beta binary and the distibution of illegal warez from the internet, and has refused to contact me again, until possibly it is going to be released.  It's very possible, due to this incident, that the author may never release any of his works to the public, and only do the porting for his own, private enjoyment.  So, I want everyone to give a huge hand out to the big jackass who decided to start distributing these files without my consent, and ruining it for everyone else.  You know who you are, I know who you are, and everyone else can easily figure it out if they search through the threads.  Thanks.
