Arggh. I've blown up my AC adapter for my Casio E125 for the 2nd time (used it in the UK with a dodgy voltage converter).
I wondered if anyone knows if Radio Shack / Tandy make a suitable one to save me the money and time of ordering from Casio themselves?
Thanks

Nope. The voltage/amperage isn't exactly standard on the casio. You can come close with a variable converter, but not exactly. Additionally, you will find that the stupid connector is not a standard size either.

I managed to come close to matching it, and while it would run, and show the light indicating that it was charging, it would not charge. So...I'd say no.

not only that, but the casio is stpid and dangerous as it doesnt have a nice voltage regulator on it (like the ipaq does) so you can easily fry your casio. I've done it twice, so be careful.

Oh yeah....read Jaybots post. I forgot to mention that funky-burning-plastic smell I got when I did that the first time...

Well I bought a new one from an online retailer.
They don't seem to have sent me exactly the same one. For a start it's black, and another thing, it only outputs 5volts instead of 5.9. Plugged it in a tried it, and it works so I thought I'd keep it. Will this do any harm?
