Does anyone know if the 3870/3850 takes the same sleeves for flash and pc cards as the 3600 series? I mean can i take my 3630's flash sleeve and slide it on to a new 3870?

No, I think you can't. Because of the SD port, I don't think the old jackets will fit.

Acually i went to the compaq site to check this out and after a lil digging aroud i found out they are comaptible, just in case anyone else was intrested.

you can't use your old cradel or sync cable with the new ipaq though.. they changed the size of the usb port.

They have to make some money, don't they? The jacket fiting is good enough, I guess. Every time Palm puts out a new model all the acessories have to be changed.

Just to add to what Chris said, Compaq added 1 extra pin to the serial connector apparently to make it standard so my one & only serial cable won't work but my 2 jackets will. <br><br>(Not buying the 38 range though as it's not advanced far enough from the H3650. I want a faster processor. Someone mentioned fuel cells on 'PM' & having seen what Motorola are doing I can't wait. A bit like the Mr Fusion on the Delorean in Back to the future)
