Ok, so I just got back my @migo from repairs(dropped it) today. I already had the drivers and everything installed, so I set up a connection on activesync and it synced fine and I transfered files with the "explore" button like normal. The weird part comes in now, whenever it try to install a peice of software it starts off normal, but when it actually opens the device manager and goes to install, it doesnt, instead it brings up that list you see when you go to Tools>Add remove programs in active sync. I have tried many different installers, and:

-uninstalling/reinstalling my USB drivers
-Disabling my firewall
-Deleting all the Activesync connections and make a new one

Franly I am running out of ideas, short of reformating;)

That happens when you try to install software compiled for a different processor. Are you sure what you are installing is made for your ppc?

James

Nope, thats not it. It also might be worth mentioning that I can install anything that is already in the add/remove programs list.

Bummer. When I was tweaking with X-Setup I messed with Active Sync, and from then on I couldn't install anything more. I fixed it by deleteing AS 3.1 and 3.5 and reistalling everything again. After that all is normal, and now I can even sync all the times I want without having to reboot the PC like I had to.
