I just recently ordered an @migo and it has a Type II PC card slot built in and was wondering if it would be able to support this:
DATAPAK 2GB PCCARD Type II Hard Drive
The DataPak PC Card, model DP-PCM2/2GB, is a portable hard disk drive which fits into any Type II PC Card slot. The DataPak drive comes in a 2GB (Gigabyte) uncompressed, formatted storage capacity.
Price: $269.00
Also, would it drain the battery faster or does it use little to power?
Thanks!

Yes, it will work in the @migo.
Unfortunatly it will significantly shorten your battery life, I suggest you buy a extra battery pack to combat this.
One more thing you would probably like to know, is the fact that it will make your @migo run much warmer.

So if I wanted a decent battery life I would want to settle for 2 256meg CF cards? I couldn't imagine ever needing over 512megs (That would hold like 4 movies, 15 games and 50 mp3's.)
I was looking at a Microdrive, but the 1 Gig Microdrive is $400... and I read that they have lower capacity Microdrives but they use more power... would I be correct in hearing that?

The older Microdrives use mush more power... I'd personally stay away from the Microdrive.. They are very unreliable (mine's gone on me twice)
512mb CF cards are only ~$270US now... And the prices are going down... But I guess buying 2 256mb ones would be better... then if you lost one, you'd only be loosing ~$120.. not $270

Thanks a lot! That is almost 1/2 the price most sites have 'em for! Too bad they are out of stock right now... grr.

They've got them for $249 and a different one for $200... the $249 is supposed to be faster... Not sure how valid that statement is.. but it's only $49, so I'd go with the faster one.

They say that 512mb "Ultra Fast" Flash Card is a type one card. That means I can use it in my Jornada 548, right? That sounds like a type-o to me. I thought type one flash cards could only go up to 128mb, and type two flash cards were 256mb and above.

Could anyone give an estimate of how much less battery time I would be looking at?

Oh, and how big are the movies you have? I am looking at a 512 meg CF card and was wondering if that would be sufficient for movies.
