A Couple of CF Questions...

I know the internal memory of the PPC's lose their data when they go without power for an extended period of time, but I was wondering if CF cards do as well.

And do CF cards drain the battery faster?

And one more thing: Are there any PPC emulators out there? There is a program I want to run and do something with, but can't do to button press limitations (I have an @migo and can only press one diagonal, or a button and a direction.)

Thanks

No, CF cards do not lose their data after being without power.

Yes, CF cards drain power faster when compared to using just onboard memory. However, as "add-on memory" goes, solid state memory(such as CF) use the least amount of power. It is important to note that some test show that "Mr.Flash" cf cards consume more power than other CF cards.

I do not know of an emulator which can provide the functions you want. The closest thing I can think of is VirtualCE available at http://www.bitbanksoftware.com/ce/index.htm#VCE
but it is pretty slow without ethernet and offers no way to map the buttons to your keyboard or anything like that.
