1. on my em500 its fine, but takes a while to load.
2. sound is good
3. for good qual, 320 x 240 at 200kps video using divx. This gives about 1.2 mb/min.
4. you could watch about 100 - 120 mins. so thats most films. in 2 64mb cards, leaving storage card free.
5.divx is better.
this should help.

i use:
-200 kps video
-320x220 res.
-frame rate decimated by 2 <-- this shaves loads off file size
-1 pass medium speed.
-100% qual.
- sound 40kps stereo, 32000 or 44000 hz, or 32kps 22500 hz.
This gives me a 20 min ep of futurama at 23 megs and looks great. To make it look better and have a slightly smaller file size, use 2 pass encoding.

Does it matter what divx codec you use and if not, the 4.12 codec is the better of the two right?

Thanks a lot robby that's great stuff. You did mean 320 by 240 right? if two pass encoding is smaller and better quality, why not use it, is it because it would be slower? Also what audio codec do you use?
