would anyone be interested in a video service?

would anyone be interested in a video service?

Something like downloadable full videos and its $20 a month or something. I dont know, its in early planning stages. All video would be in divx and i would to strike a deal with a watermarking company so that the movies will be like e-books, u can only watch them on your pda or whichever pda was registered in your name. I really need some feedback. Thankyou!
Quality= I can get most cartoons, ie, anime to perfect quality, no blocks at all.

Live action is a bit more difficult, but the videos are definetly very watchable.
Thanx for the input

Imay be interested, but you would have to offer several different qaulities, and the ability to split files into segments. A lot like audible.com does. Now, would these be real movies, or "home made" movies.

No, he just means turn a webpage into a rental shop. I think you'd have to program your own software and create a time key for each movie, you'd also need your own proprietary codec with this 'time key' built in. Kind of like how Circuit City rented out those disposable DVD's and CD's the only let you watch them 3 times on one payment. You could go back to the store and pay for a reactivation key and get to watch it more times. When you were done you could just through the CD in the garbage or recycle them at the 'return box' in the store. Good idea, but I don't think people went to Circuit City to rent movies on low quality CDs
