sl42 with EM-500 wireless internet connection

Hi, Im about to get a casio em500, and was wondering if I could get on the net with it using the siemens sl42, if anyone knows and has tried it out, pls let me know, cheers :)

I doubt it, the EM500 doesn't have very many expansion options. I don't think you'll even find a regular analog modem for it, unless you get the PSION IRDA modem.

As far as i'm aware, the SL42 is a country-specific version of the SL45. If so, you shouldn't have any problem. I used to use an SL45 and had no problems connecting via IrDA with any PocketPC.

BTW One side advantage of using an EM500 & a SL42 is that they both use the same storage media (MMC), so you can also copy MP3s, graphics and ringtones between the two!
