IPAQ battery

I remember the early IPAQ models didn't support replacing the battery once it had 'expired' (i.e., undergone maximum discharge/recharge cycles). Does anyone know if this is improved in the 3800 models?
I also remember reports of dust problems and screen inversion problems earlier - any report of these in the newer models?
Thanks for your help.

No, but you can actually get a new battery if you send your ipaq to Times2Tech.com or something. I heard that a 2000 mAmp battery can be put into your ipaq as a replacement, which is like twice as good as the 37xx, 31xx, and 36xx ipaqs, which have like a 1000 or 950 something mAmp battery. The 38xx series ipaq has a 1400 or 1500 something mAmp battery. This 2000mAmp battery isn't available in the US, though. (I think)

Compaq can replace it. About the dust problem, it was gone on the late 3700 models. The new 3800 I think are totally dust free.
