I don't know, I have a Casio too. It also takes SOOO long to open any HTML file. I have a bunch of jpegs on it (no Paul, not naughty ones!), and it takes a long time to open them. I'm not surprised it takes a long time to open 3Mb. The only thing I can think of is make sure you have enough memory alacated for software (the bar in memory settings), it should say at least maybe 10Mb on the right side, a minimum of 2Mb on the left side.

hmm... even though you say you want to keep the cross references, you could make it into an ebook. while there wouldnt be any links, you'd have a nice table of contents to work with.

other than that i suppose you could try the foliage ibrowser or uh... that tomeraider or whatever its called. i think that reads html. not sure.

Try turning it into a .txt file and use PNotepad or PocketWord to open it.

It probably is the size, but it is also possible that the file is not completely HTML compliant.

I.E. 5.0 and up are REALLY forgiving about bad HTML, but it has been my experience that PIE is not so forgiving.

Zip the HTML file, then use StarBuck to read the zipped HTML file.
