Wich Linux for my Ipaq?

i want to copy linux on my ipaq 3850.
wich one is the best?
where can i get it?
x-window compatible?
blabla?
...

Are you sure you wnat Linux? I know it seems cool, but it's a bitch to do upgrades. And there's the compatibility issues, too. :roll:

Hello.

So far as I know, none of the Linux variants really support the 3800s properly yet ().

Unless you really have a good reason to put Linux on your iPAQ... don't. You risk turning your nice, shiny little iPAQ into a useless brick that needs to be sent back to Compaq for re-flashing... don't do it on a whim.

There are a ton of resources out there. Google will return a million hits on Linux PPC. Check it all out.

I have had mixed results with MIPS and ARM processors. Mixed meaning that my Casiopeia died on me. :(

So, don't do it on a whim. But, if you do do it, let us know what happens.
