Ok i use to make my wmas using winamp 2.6. The problem is i just upgraded to Winamp beta 3 becuase it kicks more ass but it doesnt have a wma out plugin :( anymore. I also HAVE to encode to wma becuase for some odd reason some mp3's usually higher than 128k just stop playing half way through. So i guess maybe someone could tell me how to fix that problem or tell me what free program i can use to make wmas.

sure, use the windows media encoder from microsoft - its the same tool you use to make wmvs. get it from the media player section of microsofts website - i think in the 1st dvd2ppc tutorial there is also a link...

You may not like it, but Windows Media player will push out WMA.

I also suffer the problem with mp3s encoded at higher than 128K stopping half-way through or skipping to the next track.

Is it intentional on Microsoft's part? Conspiracy theories wanted. 8O
