I have a big Problem when watching a pocket divx movie on Casio EM-500.

I have made a movie with Virtual Dub
320*176
Video 250 kb/s
Audio 32 kb/s
framerate decimate by 2

My Trailer is about 7 minutes long and I have it on my Multimediacard.
The Qulitay looks good.

But after a few minutes (depently on how much cache is enable in the player) the movie stops playing but the sounds were going on and after about 5 or more seconds the player continue.And has jumped a sequenc.

But when the trailer is in my internally ram of my pocket pc the movie is playing fine.
But why not on MMC??

My question is:

1)Is my MMC two slow (i have tasted infenion and Kingston both the same results)

2) Is the MMC card holder to slow in speed

3) When i enable cache for example 6 MB the Programm is loading the file for a few seconds and began to play,why not does the Programm reloading the intern ram when playing the movie from MMC

i get the same problem. i think that mmc is a bit slow, and the em500 is also slow. i believe it runs by caching off the card, but of course it can only cache about 6 or 7 megs at a time, which is about 5 mins.
when it starts going silly, just pause the video and unpause it. this clears the cache out and gives you another 5 mins.
hopefully this will work better in the next build.

I hpoe also that there would be a next versionof the divxplayer soon.

I an Ipaq with a CF Card better faster or has this device also problems with watching full length movis? :evil: :?: :twisted:
